Everything began in 2013, when we first entered SMAK Frateran Surabaya. We met on the day we went to collect our school uniforms, where we simply introduced ourselves to one another.

A year later, in 2014, we found ourselves in the same class once again. What started as a friendship gradually grew into a closer bond. As time passed, feelings of attraction began to grow between us. However, at that time, we chose to remain friends.

Time went by, and we each continued on our own paths. Daniel moved to Ambon for work, while Friska remained in Surabaya. Until, in October 2022, we met again at the wedding of one of our friends. That encounter reopened a story that had once been left unfinished.

Daniel began pursuing Friska, realizing that the feelings that had once grown between them had never truly faded. On New Year’s Eve in 2023, Daniel expressed his desire to build a more serious relationship with her.

Although we had doubts about being in a long-distance relationship, we decided to take a chance and get to know each other more deeply. After nine months of being in an LDR, on September 25, 2023, we finally decided to begin our journey as a couple.

Our journey has not always been easy. There have been moments of happiness and sadness, differences to embrace, and many things we have had to compromise on together. Through it all, we have learned to understand, accept, and continue choosing one another.

Now, after a long journey filled with countless stories, we have decided to get married on September 26, 2026, and begin a new chapter of our lives together.

What began as a simple introduction during our high school years has now become a promise to walk through life together.
