We first met in 2021, not by chance but in quiet purpose—serving in the same church, yet walking different paths. Dave serves in the worship team, lifting songs of praise, while Jemimah worked behind the scenes as a makeup artist, preparing others to shine. Though our worlds briefly touched, they did not yet intertwine, as Dave soon left for Kuala Lumpur to pursue his studies. Still, what seemed like a passing moment was gently held in God’s timing, waiting for the right season to unfold.

In June 2022, a simple conversation on Instagram became the beginning of something deeper. With prayerful hearts, both Dave and Jemimah sought God for clarity, each quietly asking if the other was the one He had prepared. As conversations grew and subtle signs unfolded, affection began to bloom at its own gentle pace. By October, what started as uncertainty turned into intention, as both realized they were seeking something real and lasting, choosing to walk closely and discover each other with purpose.

Our journey was not without its shaping moments, filled with lessons, differences, and growth. From contrasting backgrounds to unspoken expectations, we learned to listen, to understand, and to build a foundation rooted in faith and truth.
