Our paths first intertwined through a mutual colleague, each carrying our own tales. In early 2023, I ventured into casual communication through social media, despite the restrained intensity due to the miles of distance in a long-distance relationship. Our first in-person encounter coincided beautifully with the joyous Eid al-Fitri celebration. Fate intervened, rekindling our communication and leading to heartfelt exchanges about both work challenges and personal matters. Sensing a profound connection, we courageously unveiled our emotions before our families in the midst of the year.

Engagement
As months passed, our acquaintance blossomed, solidifying our belief in each other and propelling us towards a deeper commitment. Thus, with resolute hearts, we embarked on the stage of betrothal, precisely on Wednesday, July 5th, 2023.

The culmination of our individual journeys brings us to the threshold of a new chapter as we embark on the beginning of our shared story as a family. Insha'Allah, with unwavering faith, we believe in building a future together. May our steps be eternally blessed and approved by Allah SWT. We aspire, God willing, to solemnize our union through the Ijab Qabul on Sunday, January 7th, 2024.
