Our story began during our university days. We met as students in the same major, attending the same classes, joining the same activities, and sharing the same circle of friends. From those simple beginnings, comfort grew into connection, and connection blossomed into love. We learned about each other’s dreams, strengths, and imperfections, and slowly became each other’s greatest support.

Our journey was filled with laughter, joy, and countless shared moments, but it was also tested by challenges, especially during the pandemic. Even when distance kept us apart, we learned how to stay close, how to communicate, and how to hold on to love even through a screen.

In early 2023, Fauzan decided to continue his studies, marking the start of our long-distance chapter. It was not easy. Time felt slower, the days felt longer, and the difference in time zones made everything harder. Yet, despite it all, we found ways to stay connected through messages, video calls, and quiet moments that reminded us that love always finds a way.

After a year apart, Fauzan came home for a short visit. Five days together after a year of distance felt fleeting, yet deeply meaningful. We spent our time doing the simple things we missed the most: enjoying Fauzan’s favorite Padang food, sipping Bunga’s favorite coffee, and visiting the cafés we had been planning to explore for so long. Those few days passed quickly, but they filled our hearts with warmth and strength.

From then on, we made it a point to meet at least once every six months, no matter how brief. Each meeting reminded us how precious our time together was and how our love grew stronger with each passing day. Fauzan always made sure to fulfill our travel plans and enjoy his favorite meals, making every reunion a joyful and unforgettable moment.

On June 3rd, 2025, Fauzan and his family visited Bunga’s hometown to formally propose. It was a beautiful, emotional moment, a promise made in front of both our families. After seven wonderful years together, including three years of long distance, we finally decided to begin a new chapter of our lives.

With love, gratitude, and faith, we are now ready to walk this journey hand in hand, building a life together, and writing the next pages of our story, a story of love that continues to grow and endure through every season.
