Our Story

It was definitely not love at first sight, but a love that grew from a genuine friendship.

We first met at our church’s youth bible study. Ivan was still in another relationship, while Kezia was still in the early years of bachelor studies. Though the stars did not align then, we coincidentally met again in 2016 at another church, and then again in 2017. All it took was a single dinner and an honest conversation about life, then love started to bloom. We began dating in August 2018.

We believe God made it happen. Even when we traveled far, we still found each other. Despite our age gap, we were able to build a deep connection. Through every challenge – childhood issues, different characters, career changes, pandemic, even the death of a beloved parent – we managed to find a way. We laughed, we loved, we shared our biggest dreams and deepest fears, and we held on to each other.

It has been a committed relationship through and through; one with vision and hopes for the future. We’re far from perfect, and taking it to a higher level will surely present many adversities. But with God at the center, we have faith that the upcoming years will also be filled with abundant love, joy, and blessings.

And so, with the blessings of our families, in October 2021 we finally decided to tie the knot and commit ourselves to a lifelong journey together.
