“A Tweet Away”

Twelve years ago, in the early days of Twitter, Jaz clicked “follow” on a stranger named Sabrenna. She thanked him for the follow, and that simple exchange turned into jokes, thoughts, songs, and random rants — the kind of online friendship that felt easy, light, and oddly comforting.

One day, during a casual conversation, they realized something surprising: they went to the same school. Jaz was two years older — a senior she had never noticed in the hallways. They laughed at the coincidence, not knowing there was more.

A few messages later, another surprise: they lived just a street apart. Literally. His house was right in front of hers.

What started as likes and retweets turned into late-night chats. Then real conversations. Then him waiting at the school stairs so they could walk home together. Then weekend hangouts. Over time, the screens faded away, and what remained was something real — steady, unexpected, and quietly growing.

They learned each other’s rhythms: how Jaz liked his coffee with orange, how Sabrenna needed dessert after brunch. Jaz said she made even ordinary days feel more exciting. She loved how his presence felt like calm after chaos.

Years passed, and the bond never wavered. What began with 280 characters became chapters of shared memories — laughter, patience, growth.

And just like that, a simple follow turned into forever.
