Our story began long before we realized it. Around 2011 or 2012, during the joyful celebration of Eid al-Fitr, we first met. It was a simple moment just visiting homes, exchanging greetings, like any other tradition. Back then, we were just peers from the same hometown, nothing more than that.

When we were in college, we only knew each other from social media, without personal conversations, until Nafis congratulated Nadyah on her graduation, but it was just a polite gesture, nothing special. Little did we know a deeper connection was already beginning to grow. Time passed, and we each followed our own paths, busy with life’s journey. We didn’t talk much, just checking in on each other sometimes.

Then, during Eid al-Fitr in 2022, Nafis finally reached out to Nadyah. What started as a casual conversation slowly grew into something deeper. We began to really get to know each other, and our feelings started to become more serious. The journey wasn’t always easy, like any relationship, we faced our ups and downs. But through it all, we always found our way back to each other, and almost every time around Eid al-Fitr, as if that moment always brought us together again. It may sound a little strange, but that’s the story of our journey.

On July 26, 2025, we took the next step and got engaged. The day was simple, but it was filled with warmth, gratitude, and the blessings of our families. From a simple conversation during Eid al-Fitr and ordinary family visits, our story slowly grew into a beautiful journey together.

We believe love is not about how quickly two people meet, but about how patiently they grow and complete each other. And now, InsyaAllah we move forward hand in hand, ready for the life ahead.
