The first time we met was when Nicole was on a break from college and returned to Bontang. We met through a Church youth service, introduced ourselves, and chatted as friends.

In September, Nicole graduated from college and returned to Bontang. The Church youth activities at that time led us to meet more often. From there, our friendship grew stronger.

During our friendship, we felt a strong connection and a desire to be more than just friends. On March 14, 2020, we decided to start dating.

On December 24, 2022, Dhanu’s Mom proposed to Nicole's parents in Bontang, and Nicole's parents accepted the proposal. Then, March 14, 2023 on our 3rd anniversary, Dhanu proposed Nicole personally in Semarang. Finally, our hearts were set on taking it to the next phase.

We are planning to have our engagement on September 13th, 2023. With the blessing of our parents, we are ready to celebrate our wedding on September 16th, 2023, in Bontang.
