It all began in September 2018, on the night I was celebrating my sweet seventeen. Out of nowhere, someone suddenly slid into my DMs:

“Hi Auriel, may I get to know you?”

His name was Reiner — and I remember thinking, Who is this guy?

After the party ended, I finally had the chance to look him up, and to my surprise, he was actually my senior at highschool… even though we had never once met.

On April 21st, 2019, our journey officially began.

A few months later, we began a long-distance relationship when I moved to Bandung for college. Yet over the next 6 years, our story grew into something beautiful — filled with moments we’ll cherish forever.

Reaching this point wasn’t always easy. We learned to grow, to understand, and to fight side by side for our relationship. Through every season, we chose each other.

And now, the day we’ve been waiting for has finally arrived.
