It all began with a simple introduction from a friend, a moment neither of us knew would change our lives forever. From the first conversations to the late-night talks, we slowly opened our hearts to each other. As time passed, our friendship blossomed into a love filled with laughter, joy, and some of the happiest moments I have ever known.

After we graduated from college, life led us down different paths. We had to part ways to pursue our own careers in different places. It was one of the hardest decisions we ever made. Yet even as the years went by, a piece of my heart remained with her.

Three years later, while scrolling through my Instagram stories, I saw her again—still as beautiful, radiant, and unforgettable as the day I first fell for her. In that moment, I realized the truth my heart had always known: I still loved her, and she was the one my heart belonged to.

So I decided to fight for us. To prove that my love had never faded. I planned a surprise, flew to her city, and stood outside her door with my heart racing. When she opened it, the look on her face—shock, disbelief, and then overwhelming joy—was a moment I will cherish for the rest of my life. In her eyes, I saw hope return.
